Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Personal care, group and individual social support
  • Shopping for participants
  • Respite
  • Transporting participants to and from appointments
  • Domestic Assistance and meal preparation

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Have experience working with people with disabilities or the elderly
  • Have the ability to work independently and within teams
  • Respect the rights and dignity of participants
  • Certificate 3 in Disabilities or Aged Care
  • Disability Worker Screening Clearance / Positive Notice Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current police check (or willingness to get one)
  • First aid/CPR certificate
  • Drivers' license with own registered, fully insured vehicle
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills,
  • Ability to resolve minor task-related problems, teamwork, adaptability and commitment to learning and development.

We pay travel time and kilometres for all travel in between services.
